Toronto, Ontario – Tesla’s recently revealed images of its refreshed Model Y design shows the trunk has been separated into two parts for easier repairs.
Photos of the refreshed vehicle design first surfaced on social media platform X. In these photos, viewers can see that the vehicle’s trunk has been separated into two parts with a distinct upper and replaceable lower section, where before, these areas were fused.
With this change, owners will have the ability to replace only the lower section of the vehicle in the event of damage.
Other changes to the Model Y include the use of light bars instead of traditional headlights and tail lights.
Currently, Tesla has not revealed when the new Model Y is set to launch in North America.
