Tokyo, Japan – In celebration of Pokémon Day on February 27, 2025, Honda has built a concept design for a Pokémon-inspired motorcycle based off of the latest mainline game.
Notably, based off of the legendary fighting-dragon type, ninth-generation Pokémon Koraidon, the motorcycle was reportedly inspired by Toyota, which previously celebrated Pokémon Day in 2024 by creating a similar build using the Pokémon Miraidon.
According to online reports, the motorcycle has the same proportions as the size stats for the in-game Koraidon, measuring at eight-foot-two and 668 pounds.
Furthermore, according to Honda, the project is an example of what the automaker refers to as “future mobility,” with the vehicle able to “stand” on its “legs” by using built-in self balancing technology to keep it up-right as needed.
The automaker further envisions the bike’s “eyes” moving as it accelerates.
The concept vehicle is set to be displayed at the Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama in Tokyo, Japan from March 7th to March 9th.
