Following the annual meeting, Linda Franklin was re-elected to the board as a public director and reappointed as vice-chair.
E. Patrick Shea was appointed chair of the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee, while Glen Padassery was appointed chair of the Governance and Nominating Committee.
Sohail Ahmed concluded his term as an industry director following the meeting. He previously served as secretary-treasurer and chair of the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee.
Ontario Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement Stephen Crawford attended the annual meeting and delivered remarks on consumer protection and Ontario’s vehicle sales sector.
“Strong consumer protections are essential to building trust and fairness for Ontarians,” Crawford wrote in a social media post following the event.
