Toronto, Ontario -- In this recall roundup, Ford has multiple defects affecting more than 164,000 vehicles across Canada, while Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Mitsubishi have also announced recalls this month.
Ford and Lincoln
Ford has announced several recalls, covering more than 164,000 vehicles in Canada.
- 73,500 units of the 2025–26 Super Duty, 2025 F-150 and 2026 F-600 recalled for instrument clusters that may go blank.
- 52,550 units of the 2015–18 Ford Edge and 2016–18 Lincoln MKX recalled for rear brake hoses that could burst.
- 18,200 units of the 2025 Explorer and Lincoln Aviator recalled for taillights that may not work while towing.
- 11,600 units of the 2024–25 Ranger recalled for airbags that may not inflate properly.
- 8,500 units of the 2024–25 Mustang recalled for exterior lights that may flicker.
Other Ford and Lincoln recalls include:
- Just over 400 2022 F-150 pickups recalled for LED parking lamps that may flicker due to earlier repairs.
- Nearly 200 2022 F-150 and Bronco Sport vehicles recalled for the same parking lamp issue.
- More than 22,000 2023–25 F-150 pickups with the Trailer Tow Max Duty package recalled for a rear axle defect that could cause rollaway risk.
- Nearly 500 2024–25 Lincoln Nautilus SUVs recalled for a window software problem tied to the key fob “global close” feature.
- 1 2021 Mustang Mach-E recalled for an ABS software update error.
Mercedes-Benz
Mercedes-Benz is recalling more than 500 vehicles in total, including the 2023–24 EQE Sedan and 2023–26 GLC Class. A steering shaft bolt may not have been tightened properly, which could cause a sudden loss of steering control.
Nissan
Nissan is recalling 400 Frontier pickups in Canada. A software issue could cause daytime running lamps to dim during idle stop-start, potentially distracting other drivers.
Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi is recalling more than 62,000 vehicles in total. The 2014–20 Outlander and 2018–22 Outlander PHEV may have tailgate struts that can corrode, causing the tailgate to drop suddenly.
All automakers say owners will be notified and directed to their dealerships for further instructions.
