Atlanta, Georgia – August 9, 2018 – The long-anticipated launch of the Collision Repair Network hosted by General Motors and Mitchell International is now a-go  -  at least for repairers operating south-of-the-border.

“We are honored GM has selected Mitchell as the exclusive administrator for its Collision Repair Network. Our first step is to begin accepting applications for Collision Repair Network participation at NACE 2018,” said Debbie Day, executive vice president and general manage of auto physical damage solutions at Mitchell.

Collision Repair Network members will perform pre- and post-repair diagnostic scans, utilize Mitchell’s Cloud Estimating and recieve up-to-date repair procedures from the OEM. Members of the network will also be featured on GM’s repair facility locator, which can be accessed through a website (GenuineGMParts.com).

“Mitchell’s software platform and expertise will help us make a difference for GM drivers and help the entire repair industry satisfy customers and run profitable, efficient enterprises.” explained John Eck, collision manager, GM customer care and aftersales.

While no firm date has been set for the Canada-wide launch, representatives of GM and Mitchell International's U.S. teams have confirmed that they have been working closely with their counterparts counterparts in the true north to prepare for its arrival.
