Mississauga, Ontario -- January 4, 2017 -- Be prepared for another full day of CCIF, and then some. The schedule and speakers have been announced for Thursday, January 25. Historically, the conference has been dominated by its Friday events, but this year attendees can look forward to a full Thursday schedule, and even some events on Wednesday, January 24.
Among the events hosted on Thursday will be a Showcase and Cars Technology Showroom, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The showcase will feature numerous industry exhibitors’ innovations and products, while the showroom will host the latest vehicle technology. The showcase speakers who will be presenting on Thursday are Marc Honorat, from Haiti Arise, 5:00 pm; Leanne Jefferies, Skills Canada, 5:15 pm; and Patrice Marcil, with an Industry-Education Connection project update, 5:30 pm. Over 60 students, apprentices and faculty-staff from near-by colleges will attend the CCIF showcase and reception, with the opportunity to engage with the collision repair industry first-hand. Participating colleges are Mohawk, Fanshawe and Centennial.
This year's events will all take place at a new venue—the International Centre Hall 5, in Mississauga, Ontario. According to Brigitte Pesant, Director of Collision Programs, AIA Canada, the change to the Mississauga location is significant. “The space is going to provide ample room for the continuous growth of CCIF, and will meet all our needs,” she commented.

If this isn't enough CCIF, Wednesday, January 24th will have some exciting events in store, as well. Attendees have the opportunity to visit Centennial College at its Ashtonbee campus, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
