Madison Heights, Michigan -- June 21, 2016 -- Sika Automotive has made a number of additions to its North American team, on both the sales and technical sides.

John Beckwith joins Sika as Application Engineer - Structural Technology, reporting to Ray Helferty, Engineering Group Manager. Beckwith will focus in new technology development, project launch, and customer support assistance in the Structures and Reinforcing Technology group. Beckwith holds multiple design patents, either directly or in part for his extensive work in automotive body hardware supply and design. Beckwith joins Sika with 10 years’ experience at GM and 15 years with the Connelly Group as a direct supplier of body hardware to OEMs.

Chris Groesser has been appointed as Global Key Account Manager – Ford, reporting to Ralph Horster, Head Global Automotive Sales. Groesser will focus on all facets of serving Ford Motor requirements on a global basis.

Marc King joins the company as Senior Program Manager – Acoustics Technology in the Region NA, reporting to Larry LaNore Engineering Group Manager. King will focus on new technology development, project launch and customer support within the Acoustics Technology Group. King brings to the position 17 years of experience in sealing technologies, specifically in body shop and paint sealing tapes.

Matthew Rosiar has been appointed as Business Analyst, reporting directly to Peter Luescher, Head Global Automotive Finance & Controlling. Prior to joining Sika, Rosiar worked for IBM in Global Process Services.

Gary Cole joins Sika as Quality Assurance Manager reporting to Cedric Gray, Vice President of Operations. Cole joins Sika from Machine Laboratory where he served as Quality Assurance Manager. Cole held similar positions prior at EC Manufacturing, CH Guenther and Caravan Ingredients.

David Irvin has been appointed as Customer Quality Engineer reporting to Justin Webb, New Domestics Quality Engineer. Irvin comes to Sika from Triumph Structures where he was a Quality Engineer providing support to the manufacturing and engineering groups.
