Calgary, Alberta -- September 1, 2015 -- The next meeting of the Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) is coming soon and some of the topics covered include connected consumers, market dynamics and their impact on the industry and insight into the construction and design philosophy behind Audi vehicles. CCIF Calgary takes place at the Hotel Arts in Calgary, Alberta, on September 17, 2015.
Frank Terlep, CEO and Lead Sherpa of Summit eMarketing Sherpas, will help CCIF attendees with the tools, technologies and techniques today’s Canadian collision repairers, insurers and other industry participants need to utilize to connect with, communicate, market to, sell and service today’s connected consumer.
David Adams, President of the Global Automakers of Canada, will share OEM market information and auto industry dynamics that are impacting Alberta as well as the entire Canadian market. Adams will provide collision industry stakeholders with up to date information on where vehicle sales are heading and the other major trends to be aware of, as repairers continue to invest in equipment and training to meet the needs of consumers and insurers.
Scott Wideman, Collision Program Manager for Volkswagen Group Canada, will provide CCIF attendees with insight on the direction that Audi vehicle construction is heading, including the design architecture for the TT, Q7 and R8. He will highlight the materials used in body construction and the associated repair techniques, and will also share information on what impact this new architecture will have on the Audi Certified Collision Repair network.
