Toronto, Ontario -- July 29, 2015 -- Keystone Automotive has just announced it is launching a new business to supply collision repair facilities in the Toronto area. Keystone is a division of large publicly-traded company LKQ Corporation. Over the past few years Keystone has acquired various suppliers of paint and body equipment around the Greater Toronto Area. The new company merges those businesses into a new single entity, Key Colour.

According to a press release announcing the launch, the name Key Colour, “reflects the company’s commitment to colour leadership in auto refinishing.” The new company will offer a full range of products and value-added services for collision repair businesses in Toronto.

Key Colour currently has two locations and thirty employees. The company will serve automotive repair and refinishers, as well as the fleet, commercial, and industrial market. “As the collision repair industry advances toward a business model focused on process along with product, distributors must evolve as well. We recognize that our customers  benefit from having access to professional, personalized services in addition to an expansive product line,” said Ed Pietrzak, vice president, PB&E Division, LKQ

Roland Taube, director of PB&E operations, LKQ Corporation, was quoted as saying that, “In a changing market, Key Colour represents the industry’s leading brands, and combined with our experienced staff, the company is well-positioned to support the long-term business needs and goals of our collision repair customers."

Key Colour by Keystone Automotive serves more than 250 collision repair businesses in Toronto and the surrounding area, and is backed by the resources of Keystone Automotive and its parent company, LKQ Corporation.
