Hafford, Saskatchewan -- April 15, 2014 -- An RCMP investigation has resulted in the seizure of $100,000 in stolen vehicle components from an alleged chop shop.Â
Blaine Lake RCMP executed a search warrant on April 10 and 11 where authorities found a semi-truck, a fuel truck, a collection of tools, construction equipment and copper wire on the premises. The vehicle parts were all being kept on the Hafford property and allegedly were being stripped down for parts.
Scott Anderson, 45, faces charges of possession of stolen property in connection with the stolen semi-truck, while a man living at the residence may face charges in connection to the remaining vehicle parts.
The RCMP says the residence owner was previously convicted of similar offenses two years ago.
