Boyle, Alberta -- November 24, 2013 -- Three people are facing charges after an RCMP raid on a "chop shop" near Boyle, Alta., recently. 
 
The Boyle detachement of the RCMP, in conjunction with the RCMP Auto Theft Unit, served search warrants on two properties in the County of Athabasca. Athabasca is located northeast of Edmonton. 
 
Stolen ehicles were found during a search of the property that Boyle RCMP believe were being stripped down, with parts being swapped between the vehicles. In addition, the search also uncovered firearms, narcotics and explosives. The value of the stolen goods is estimated at $120,000. 
 
Two men and one woman now face charges in connection with the evidence uncovered by the investigation. One of the men reportedly tried to flee RCMP officers, and is now also facing charges of resisting arrest. 
 

Officials estimate the value of the stolen goods to be $120,000. The names of the accused have not been released at this time.
