Toronto, Ontario -- The global advanced driver assistance systems market is poised for a long period of significant growth, according to a new report.

Sales will grow from 359.8 million units in 2025 to 652.5 million units by 2032, or by about 8.9 percent each year, a MarketsandMarkets has found. This upward trajectory is largely attributed to advancements in machine learning, artificial intelligence algorithms and sensor fusion technologies.

Innovations have enhanced the sophistication and cost-effectiveness of ADAS software, reducing reliance on expensive hardware components like radar and LiDAR. The Asia Pacific region is expected to lead this growth, with projections estimating 317.4 million units by 2032. This especially strong regional growth is being driven by a series of new laws mandating ADAS on new vehicles.

Worldwide, lane departure warning systems are anticipated to account for the largest share of the ADAS market by system type. This is also being propelled by rising road safety concerns and stringent safety regulations mandating LDW integration into new vehicles.
