Toronto, Ontario — September 4, 2018 — Fort Rouge Auto Centre is Manitoba’s first and only OEM certified collision repair facility for Volkswagen, as well as Porsche.
“Having the certifications gives us the ability to do complete repairs on all Porsche and Volkswagen vehicles,” said Mike Kilmury, production manager at Fort Rouge Auto Centre.
“With the changes in technology and the repair procedures on vehicles, our motivation was to make sure we’re up to par and that we’re repairing these vehicles to pre-accident condition as per OEM standards.”
Prior to the certifications the repair shop was limited to making non-structural repairs to both Porsche and Volkswagen vehicles. Now the facility can be recommended by the both companies as a certified shop where customers can have their cars restored back to deralership requirements.
The facility itself is equipped with up-to-date tools and equipment, in addition to OEM and I-Car trained service technicians.
Further certifications the shop possesses include Fiat/Chrysler and Kia, credentials obtained through Assured Performance Network/Certified Collision.
Fort Rouge Auto Centre is an independent dealership, service centre and collision centre, owned by Brothers in law Lucia and Frank Torchia.
