Diamond Bar, California — August 7, 2017 — Legendary musicians Jimmie Vaughan, Billy F. Gibbons, Jeff Beck and Michael Anthony will be the featured entertainment at the SEMA Industry Awards Banquet, taking place Thursday November 2, 2017, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Vaughan’s Tilt-A-Whirl Band will back the four musicians. While each is respected for his notable music contributions, they are also well known as hot rod enthusiasts. Each has an enviable stable of rods and customs.

Take Vaughan, who was strongly influenced by cars of the 1950s. His collection of unique customs include a ’51 Chevy Fleetline and a ‘61 Cadillac Coupe De Ville, which has won numerous awards and appeared on the cover of The Rodder’s Journal.

Gibbons is the proud owner of the famous ZZ Top Eliminator car. Beck’s collection includes his ’59 Vette and a Forde deuce coupe replica from the movie American Graffiti. Anthony’s hot rod collection includes a ’33 Hiboy Roadster, a ’40 Ragen and a ’69 Shelby.

The SEMA Industry Awards Banquet is the automotive specialty-equipment market’s premier awards ceremony, where industry excellence and achievements are celebrated. It’s held annually on Thursday evening during the week of the SEMA Show.

“This is an extremely exciting opportunity to see four legendary musicians who are all ‘car guys’ play together at the SEMA Industry Awards Banquet,” said Chris Kersting, SEMA President and CEO. “It’s a rare, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity available only to show attendees.”

Tickets, which include a formal sit-down dinner, are available for SEMA showgoers. The program includes the announcement of the SEMA Person of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, WD of the Year, Manufacturers’ Rep Agency of the Year, and Gen III of the Year. It will also play tribute to this year’s SEMA Hall of Fame inductees: GiGi Carleton, Doug Evans and Barry Meguiar.

All SEMA Show exhibitors qualify to obtain a limited number of free tickets to the banquet, while tickets can also be purchased by any showgoer at semashow.com/awards-banquet.
