Kirmac expands with two new locations in BC

Coquitlam, British Columbia — July 21, 2015 — Kirmac Collision & Autoglass has announced the opening of two new locations: Ridge Meadows and North Vancouver, both in British Columbia. Kirmac sold its facilities in the US in December 2014 and announced it would target more Canadian expansion.

The new Kirmac Ridge Meadows location on Lougheed Highway in West Maple Ridge borders the community of Pitt Meadows and complements its existing repair facility in East Maple Ridge.

“Our decision to expand our presence in this market with a second location came as a result of increased demand for our services, and the opportunity to provide customers in Pitt Meadows with a more convenient location,” says Sean McIntosh, Regional Manager of Kirmac.

Kirmac Ridge Meadows is the second location in BC to install state-of-the-art repair and paint equipment, including the REVO rapid refinish paint curing system. A statement from Kirmac says the REVO system, a semi-robotic, infrared paint curing system, accelerates the paint curing process and increases the overall quality of repair.

Shortly after opening Ridge Meadows, Kirmac announced the acquisition of Levett Auto Metal Ltd., located in North Vancouver.

“We have been actively searching for a location on the North Shore for many years,” says McIntosh. “As a new market, we look forward to introducing Kirmac’s exceptional service and quality repairs to the residents of North Vancouver.”

As a proud supporter of BC Children’s Hospital, the addition of the new repair centres provides Kirmac the opportunity to increase its yearly donation. The company has recently announced its goal of raising half a million dollars per year, following a five year accumulated donation of just over $1 million in May of this year.

As a 42 year old BC family owned and operated collision and glass repair company, Kirmac now operates 15 repair centres throughout the Metro Vancouver area.

Kirmac continues to actively seek acquisition opportunities within British Columbia. Interested parties may contact Kirmac by email at acquisitions@kirmac.com.
