Glen Mills, Pennsylvania — February 4, 2014 — Axalta Coating Systems is excited to officially unveil the 2014 Brilliant Flames paint scheme on the number 24 Axalta Chevrolet SS race car driven by four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon.
Fans will have an opportunity to see the new design at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, NC on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 at 5 p.m. in the Great Hall before the NASCAR season begins next month. Gordon will be there, joined by popular motorsports announcer Winston Kelley, VP Axalta Coating Systems and Head of North American Business Nigel Budden, Hendrick Motorsports Chairman and Owner Rick Hendrick and renowned artist Sam Bass for a press conference. The paint scheme, designed by Bass, marks the 22nd between Axalta, Hendrick Motorsports and Gordon.

Axalta’s first sponsored race of the 2014 season will showcase the “Brilliant Flames” paint scheme in Las Vegas on Sunday, Mar, 9, 2014 in the Kobalt Tools 400.
