Toronto, Ontario — PPG has announced the release of ‘PPG ULTRALAST paint + primer,’ a new product featuring PPG Clean Surface Technology. The product is designed to protect walls by using the same scratch resistant and easy-clean surface technology originally used in car exteriors.
The paint is said to protect against stains, by incorporating technology that prevents the substances from soaking into the paint film. The product is ideal for high-traffic areas, like kitchens, bathrooms, play rooms, restaurants, retail spaces, educational facilities and others, says the company.
Usually paint loses colour over time due to rubbing and scratching, however, PPG says their new product will help maintain the authenticity of the surface’s original colour. The paint and primer also protects against the development of mildew on the dry paint film, and reduces the need for abrasive cleaners and sponges that commonly remove paint and gloss from walls.
