Fix Fellowship: Atlantic Fix Network partners attend regional meeting

Moncton, New Brunswick The fall session of Fix Network regional meetings wrapped up on Oct. 10, with the Atlantic team coming together in Moncton, N.B.

The full day of presentations, break-out sessions and networking were all designed to support each franchise strategic partner as they continue to improve and grow their businesses.

“First and foremost, our team is here for our franchise partners providing operations support along with effective management software to maximize shop efficiency, as well as creative marketing to drive brand awareness,” said Mark Weeks, regional vice president for Fix Network Atlantic.

The always-spirited group of shop owners from across the Maritimes opened the annual event at the reception and supplier tradeshow the evening before the meeting. Supplier partners play an important role in the success of each of the Fix Network brands. The tradeshow offers a great opportunity for suppliers to engage with each of the shops to share updates on any new products and services they offer.

The regional meeting opened with a welcome from Steve Leal, president and CEO of Fix Network World, that included updates on national and global initiatives for all three brands. Leal’s speech was followed by presentations from national operations, sales and marketing teams.

A very important element to each regional meeting is the local area updates that are given to the franchise strategic partners. Understanding the dynamics and what is happening in Atlantic Canada within the automotive aftermarket services industry is crucial for running a successful shop. During these sessions, shop owners are encouraged to engage in an open dialogue and ask questions to help the entire network drive forward.

“We need and appreciate the feedback from our franchise strategic partners as it helps us to continue to develop programs in the three key areas of the business: operations, sales and marketing,” said Weeks. “It is important that the support we are offering aligns with the business goals of our partners.”

Each year, shops are recognized for reaching specific anniversary milestones. This year, Fix Network is pleased to congratulate a Speedy Auto Service shop in Nova Scotia for reaching 40 years of service to the community. “We have a long history serving the community with a Speedy shop reaching 40 years and a NOVUS location at 20 years,” concluded Weeks. “With 21 Fix Auto, 10 Speedy Auto Service and 8 NOVUS Glass in Atlantic Canada, our team is excited to expand our network and support our existing locations so they can continue to offer their customers the best service possible.”
