Montreal, Quebec — June 12 2016 — Fix Auto has announced it is now a national partner of the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RHMC) of Canada. The announcement was made by Carl Brabander, Vice President, Marketing for Fix Auto Canada.
“Fix Auto is a network of family businesses that believe in giving back to the communities we serve,” said Brabander. “Our partnership with RMHC gives us all the opportunity to make a difference in our communities across Canada, and underscores our commitment to Canadian families.”
Ronald McDonald Houses provide families of sick children with a home to stay at while their child is being treated at a nearby hospital. As well, Ronald McDonald Family Rooms provide a comfortable place for families to rest and recharge, right inside hospitals.
This partnership will establish RMHC Canada as the charity of choice for Fix Auto Canada, providing over 2,000 Fix Auto franchisees, employees and corporate staff to get involved and help keep families together when a child is undergoing medical treatment.
“Fix Auto brings a national and local reach that can help us make a positive difference at all our Houses, Family Rooms and Care Mobiles across Canada,” says Cathy Loblaw, President and CEO, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Canada. “We look forward to working together with the Fix Auto family to grow the program and make a difference to Canadian families.”
