Whistler, British Columbia — October 23, 2017 — Fix Auto welcomed franchise strategic partners from across British Columbia recently for informative presentations and discussions at its second annual BC regional meeting.

The meeting, which was hosted by Fix Auto’s General Manager Peter Polito and held in Whistler, offered a platform for shop owners to connect with the Fix Auto head office team, vendors and insurance partners. It also provided owners an opportunity to network with their colleagues and share their experiences, knowledge and best practices.

“This important yearly event is very valuable for our franchise strategic partners as it not only provides them with updates on the business and the opportunity to meet with suppliers and insurance partners and their fellow owners, but also gives them a platform for open discussion with Fix Auto representatives to provide indispensable feedback,” said Polito.

The focus of the company’s regional meeting, which it holds across the country, is its franchise strategic partners and “supporting their ongoing success.” Delegates took part in presentations from the Fix Auto Sales, Operations and Marketing teams. Each presentation was full of updates and new opportunities and programs that are coming online; all designed to help each shop drive their business forward.

Each presentation was held in an open format giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions throughout, encouraging an open dialogue and fostering a collaborative environment.

“We are looking forward to the opportunity for growth, business support and networking with our industry peers; which is now possible because we are part of the Fix Auto network,” said Steve Davidson, owner of the newest Fix Auto BC facility located in Kamloops.

Steve Leal, Fix Auto World President and CEO, said he believes in the franchise model and that franchise strategic partners are the experts in this industry.

“Our role is to support their entrepreneurial spirit and mutually drive our business forward through innovation, comprehensive management tools, in-depth training, creative marketing and partnerships with insurance companies and suppliers,” remarked Leal during his video presentation to the attendees.

The delegates were also invited to attend an evening reception, vendor expo and silent auction. All funds raised during the silent auction went to the Fix Auto national charity partner, Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Canada.

Items up for auction included gifts from indulgent gift baskets, latest tech gadgets, to two roundtrip tickets to anywhere WestJet flies. Total donations amounted to just over $4,100 being raised to help RMHC provide families of sick children with a place to stay while their child is being treated at a nearby hospital.

“Our spirit of sharing and generosity was evident in the support shown for RMHC and continued throughout the productive and dynamic BC regional meeting,” added Polito.
