Brampton Ontario — May 23, 2018 — CARSTAR has announced the dates for its annual car wash, ‘Soaps it up for Cystic Fibrosis,’ in support of cystic fibrosis research. From May 26 to June 23, facilities from across Canada will host their own car washing events.
“Being involved in our annual ‘Soaps it up for Cystic Fibrosis’ is by my far my favourite event every year,” says owner of CARSTAR Brampton Frank Sottile, who will be hosting a carwash this year. “We have so much fun with our staff and community. It feels really great knowing that our efforts go to a good cause. Every year our car wash gets bigger and bigger and of course more fun. We are all so excited about this year’s event. We can’t wait to ‘soap you up.’”
The family-oriented events will include entertainment along with the charity carwash. Examples of entertainment that may be present are BBQs, clowns, face painting and car shows. This year CARSTAR Brampton has partnered with Lee Baxter Promotions, who are bringing its star fighters to step through the ropes for a special public workout in an actual boxing ring during the event.
Each five dollar car wash ticket sold is eligible to win from a variety of prizes. Anyone donating twenty dollars or more can request an income tax receipt from the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
