Carnostic is looking to change the game with its pocket mechanic

By CRM staff

Toronto, Ontario – May 3, 2019 – A technology-driven automotive solutions company, Carnostic is looking to change the automotive industry with its new pocket mechanic.

The company has come out with a device called the On-Board Carnostic. It runs on a cloud-based algorithm software that is designed to educate users on different parts and information about their vehicles through their smartphones.

The program gives drivers a breakdown on repairs, parts, and labour by their series of mechanics. For instance, if one of the lights on the dash has come on telling you to check your engine, the app will tell you the severity of it and how much it would cost to repair. Drivers can also call up a mechanic through their service to receive any advice they would need on their vehicle.

Some features of the device include the cloud-based pre-emptive algorithm software that collects, analyzes, and utilizes data from 600 sensors across the car to predict problems before the check engine light comes up and a timeline and maintenance service schedule. The device also features a Black BoxMode to provide the events leading up to an accident, and Industry Standard Professional Diagnostics.
