CAM TOW files complaint against Cornwall Police

Cornwall, Ontario — April 24, 2014 — A local towing company has filed a formal complaint against the city’s police service stemming from issues over the Cornwall Police Services (CPS) towing contract.

The complaint alleges the contractor is charging more than the agreed upon towing and storage fees in the agreement, which hovers around $53 as a flat rate. Gord Cameron of CAM TOW says he’s seen proof the contractor has been charging anywhere between $400 and $500.
