According to the company the new No-Fil A995 Blaze paper disc line provides as much as two to three times the tear resistance of any other flexible paper disc on the market due to a super-tough polyester-reinforced D-weight hook and loop backing. The abrasive is a special ceramic aluminum oxide abrasive featuring extremely sharp grain edges. As the grains fracture these edges generate a consistent cut throughout the life of the product. According to Norton Blaze increases productivity due to fewer disc changes and a cleaner work environment while labour costs are reduced through less sanding time. Norton also says the disc’s multi-hole pattern fits any random orbital vac-hole configuration without aligning the holes to the backup pad.
