Las Vegas, Nevada — September 15, 2016 — With the eagerly anticipated 2016 SEMA Show approaching one of the event’s long-time partners has moved quickly to once again announce its support for a popular returning program.
For a seventh consecutive year the Repairer Driven Education (RDE) series will take centre stage at SEMA this coming November. First premiering in 2010, the forum has served as the home of the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) as they seek to present the industry with “world-class” education that speaks to the heart of issues faced in today’s collision-repair businesses.
Having supported the series since its inception, BASF Refinishes has announced itself as a Masters and OEM Level Sponsor of the 2016 forum.
“BASF has always placed a clear emphasis on the role education plays in elevating our industry,” said Aaron Schulenburg, Executive Director of the SCRS. “When the RDE series was launched in 2010, BASF was the first company to commit their support. We couldn’t be more pleased to have their involvement year after year.”
The Masters and OEM Summit Level Sponsor of the series includes sponsorship of each of the nearly 30 RDE classes ongoing during SEMA and the OEM Summit, kicking off on Nov. 1 in Las Vegas.
On top of sponsoring the event, BASF will also have representatives presenting, with the company’s Strategic Initiatives, Business Solutions Leader Tom Hoerner leading a class on scheduling and workflow solutions on Nov. 4. The class will focus on the scheduling process and how balancing vehicle intake affects work in process, cycle time and touch time.
