Naperville, Illinois — January 24, 2017 — Spanesi Americas recently recognized individual distributors for their contributions and accomplishments of 2016. Among those recognized was Spanesi’s distributor for Canada, Anthony Iaboni of Collision 360.
Iaboni and his team took home both the 2016 Distributor “Rookie” of the Year and a Director’s Club award.
The awards were presented at the company’s annual Distributors Meeting, which took place at Spanesi Americas headquarters in Naperville, Illinois. The meeting is a chance for Spanesi Americas to recognize distributors, fill them in on new equipment and provide training.
“We took a new hire with us, Steve Browning, to get him up to speed,” said Iaboni in a recent interview with Collision Repair magazine. “He’s going to be concentrating on Spanesi on both the sales and service sides.”
The 2016 Distributor “Rookie” of the Year is given to a supplier who started distributing Spanesi products in the last year. Collision 360 first started distributing Spanesi’s equipment in Canada in April 2016. For more on this, please see “Collision 360 to distribute Spanesi.”
According to a statement from Spanesi Americas, the Director’s Club award is given to individuals who have met or exceeded the needs of their territory, their customers and their commitment to Spanesi. Stan Barlow of Alberta Booth also received one of these awards at the Distributors Meeting.
“I’m the type of person that’s never satisfied with my accomplishments, and never convinced I’ve done enough, but I have to say that recognition like this helps keep the compass pointing in the right direction,” said Iaboni. “I’d like to thank Tim Morgan, Tom McGee and the rest of the team at Spanesi Americas for their help, guidance and mentorship. They set the bar high on every level.”
