Almost All OEMs: Solera adds Toyota, Lexus to AudaVIN service

Westlake, Texas — Solera just announced that it will be expanding its Toyota and Lexus makes and models to AudaVin, a vehicle identification number (VIN) service. Having Toyota and Lexus with AudaVin means that the VIN service now covers 80 percent of vehicles on the road today in the United States.

Solera’s AI-based repair, estimating and evaluations solution, Qapter is integrated with AudaVin, which allows for customers to identify a vehicle’s build data from manufacturers and accurately select parts, graphics and labour-relevant damage capturing. These tools decrease inspection time and identify accurate parts needed the first time to have better first-call settlement rates.

With AudaVin, there are fewer errors made in the estimation process, and Evan Davies, chief technology officer at Solera, says that AudaVin will deliver a more stress-free experience for the collision repairers and the customers.

“Solera’s goal has always been to provide its customers with a claims process that is simple, efficient, and accurate. AudaVIN, is a one-of-a-kind solution that combines VIN look-up at the OEM-level with Solera-built data. Integrated into our Qapter claims workflow, AudaVIN renders a 3D image that enables Bodyshop’s to quickly capture vehicle damage and generate an accurate estimate,” said Davies.
