Toronto ON — October 2, 2018 — Fred Daoust is transferring from Marine & Protective Coatings and being promoted to the role of Canadian Country Manager for Automotive & Specialty Coatings, effective November 1. According to AkzoNobel, he will report to Doug Holmberg, Business Director A&SC Americas, and will be part of the A&SC Americas Management Team.
In his new role, Fred will be responsible for developing and executing sales and market development strategies in the Canadian marketplace, providing the necessary direction and tools to drive sales, and development of the Canadian Team.
Since joining AkzoNobel in 1989, Fred has held various roles in Marine & Protective Coatings including Yacht Regional Sales Manager for parts of Canada & the US and Yacht General Manager-Interlux North America. Most recently, Fred was the Regional Sales Manager for Marine & Protective Coatings-Eastern Canada.
