A Year in Review: AIA Canada’s third yearbook

Toronto, Ontario — Oct. 4, 2019 — AIA Canada has released its third biannual edition of its Canadian Collision Industry Yearbook–a reflection on the growths and trends that have shaken the industry over the past two years.

Said to be a “must-have” for industry business planning, the book touts some notable findings: the latest number of collision repair centres recorded is 5,011–an upward trend from the last record of 5,000 in 2013, an estimated 23,144 employees currently work in Canada’s collision repair sectors today, and OEM parts are still the most popular choice to source by a vast majority with an observed 77.64 percent over aftermarket parts (15.26 percent) and recycled parts (6.15 percent).

Like the issues before, AIA’s yearbook is divided into two sections, a national industry profile showing the entire range of the collision repair industry, and a provincial section for a more in-depth look into the individual stats of all 10 provinces.

The Canadian Collision Repair Industry Yearbook 2019 is available now for $495.00 on AIA Canada’s site.
