Burnaby, British Columbia -- January 12, 2012 --  Bob Clarke passed away January 6, 2012, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. Bob spent his entire working life in virtually every facet of the automobile industry. He had a gift of establishing friendships with people from all walks of life, and of bringing together people whom may otherwise never have met. There are few in the B.C. auto industry who would be unaware of who Bob was or the legacy he leaves behind.

Bob was born August 14, 1938 in Vancouver and grew up in Nanaimo near Departure Bay. Bob lived the last 30-plus years in Tsawwassen, and enjoyed relaxing at his trailer in Point Roberts with friends and family around him.

Bob is survived by Leslie his wife of 30 years, sons Blake (Lynne) and Clayton, daughter Lisa (Gerry) and grandchildren Ali, John and Lee. Bob was predeceased by his younger brother Len (Barb). A celebration of Bob’s life will take place Monday, January 23rd at the Hilton Vancouver Airport at 5911 Minoru Blvd. in Richmond, B.C. from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Clarke family wishes to thank Dr. Hollinger and the outstanding staff at the Irene Thomas Hospice in Delta. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Delta Hospice Society at deltahospice.org.
