| Cindy Gruber becomes BASF Canada's manager of business and market development |

In this position, Gruber is responsible for identifying and delivering new business opportunities in the Canadian chemical market. She will collaborate and work with all regional business units and other cross business development teams in the region. Gruber has more than 10 years of industry experience, including business and market development, as well as extensive knowledge of project management, manufacturing, and research and development. “It’s by leveraging BASF’s broad product portfolio that we will further strengthen and expand our position in this industry,” said Laurent Tainturier, president of BASF Canada. “Cindy is responsible for identifying new trends and business opportunities, as well as pursuing those trends with innovative multi-product line solutions to meet customer needs.” Gruber graduated from the University of Waterloo with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. |
