Thornhill, Ontario--July 28, 2010--The esteemed UK training company Thatcham will be demonstrating a new platform for accessing repair procedures at the 2010 Automechanika automotive aftermarket trade fair in Frankfurt, Germany.

Their presentations will be focusing on material damage, vehicle security and personal injury.

Thatchamnet, as their new service is called, is a web portal that will provide all sectors of the industries with fully-tested repair methods and times that will help ensure the safety of a repaired vehicle and accuracy of estimates.

Thatcham will also be supplying a wide variety of free extras to accompany Thatchamnet including model-specific and composite collision repair times and paint costs, product accreditation schemes, crash parts certification and repair equipment.

Thatcham will also be demonstrating their internationally recognized security solutions, which aid targeted insurance claims handling and reducing overall claims costs.

Their vehicle safety team will be demonstrating their research on bumper effectiveness and how it relates to repair cost, as well as their seat and head restraint ratings in relation to whiplash which help with claims handling.

Automechanika 2010 will take place September 14-19 at the Messe Frankfurt Exhibition Centre. Thatcham’s stand will be in the Body Repairs and Claims Management Hall (Hall 11).
