New Maaco to open in Oakville

Oakville, Ontario -- January 24, 2012 -- Maaco is gearing up for the official grand opening of its new store in Oakville. Although they have been writing estimates since January 23, Maaco Oakville will have its Grand Opening on Thursday, February 23 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Bruce Tokiwa, Director of Marketing/National Account Sales for Maaco Systems Canada says, "It made sense to expand west to Oakville. With eight locations across the GTA, two being in Mississauga and one in Hamilton, the Oakville location just shrinks the gap for our customers."

Pedro Gutierrez is the Oakville franchisee. “Pedro has a solid business background, which is a great fit for the Maaco model,” Tokiwa says. Gutierrez is from Venezuela where his family ran a very successful cattle operation for generations.

We spoke with Gutierrez about his new store. “Maaco is a well known company with a proven business model. The whole production system is lean, straight-forward to handle and dynamic, and more importantly, at the end of it you have a great looking car and a happy client.”
